DAHLINGS!!!!! What a wonderful day to share another Unity Principle.
As you see I’ve dressed for the occasion in my tiara, glasses, Boa, and gloves. Aren’t they spectacular?

Such a Diva, yes? Allow me to define the term and gain clarity on the feminine aspect of our human or sense nature; our emotional, feeling side, that’s in every one of us.  One of the definitions of a Diva is: a self-important person who is temperamental and difficult to please. Think of a moment when, in full bloom of your humanness, that temperamental, and difficult to please consciousness rose to the surface.

Which brings us to-
Principle 2:  Human beings have a spark of divinity within them, the Christ spirit within.
We are the Divine expressing. Theologian, Eric Butterworth called it, the Eachness in the Allness. We are the light. The poet Rumi reminds us, “We are not a drop in the ocean, we are the entire ocean in a drop”
We, when caught up in our Diva-ness, we live outside of our Christ consciousness.
Our Power of Will and Understanding which resides in front of the brain runs rampant. Stubbornness, being contrary, maybe even stomping our feet in frustration. We go blindly ahead in our living, and learn by hard experience, or become unteachable.
When we-
Take off the tiara! Move into a  Higher Consciousness- We Consciously consent to the will of our Divine Source. Doing, saying, thinking, the right thing because it’s the right thing to do. Living from that One power and One presence. Reconnecting to our spiritual truth. “Be Still and Know.” Following the guidance of the spirit that dwells within.
How do we remove the glasses of our inner Diva? Our vision clouded by excessive worry or fantasizing the worst throughout our day. How do we view ourselves when we look in the mirror? Are we self-critical?
Our Diva glasses are covering our Point of Power - Imagination which is between the eyes. Both the inner and outer visual source. How do we see that spark of divinity in us? How are we able to see through new lenses?
Glasses- We take off the glasses and see unveiled, what Paul stated in:
2 Corinthians 3:18 New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)
“And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another; for this comes from the Lord, the Spirit.”
We see our higher purpose. Our vision no longer clouded, we remove the inner Diva, the drama, the worry and envision the Truth of our being- Human beings having a spark of divinity within us, the Christ spirit within. One degree of glory at a time.
See the Christ Spirit within yourself! You’re simply fabulous! Now see that spark in those around you, go ahead, look at the person next to you! The Christ Spirit simply sparkles with loving light!

The Boa- As beautiful as it may be, this Diva Boa is covering up another of the 12 Powers, which is at the base of tongue, voice box. The power of “Power”.  In Diva mode, we hide behind our sense consciousness, and become control freaks and domineering. Possibly even micro-managing our day to day doings. Our self-talk may be less than divinely inspired. What thoughts were you saying to yourself while going through your morning routine, this morning?
Remove the Boa!  Rise above and claim your Power. Put your “Spiritual Power” behind the words you speak to yourself and others. The energy in your voice gives power to the words you speak. Speak with compassion, love, joy and humor.
Ellen Debenport, in her book, The Five Principles references Eckhart Tolle in A New Earth about the steading influence of the Christ with:
“Jesus speaks of the innermost I AM, the essence identity of every man and woman, every life form, in fact. He speaks of the life that you are. Some Christian mystics have called it the Christ within; Buddhists call it your Buddha nature; for Hindus, it is Atman, the indwelling God. When you are in touch with that dimension within yourself- and being in touch with it is your natural state, not some miraculous achievement- all your actions and relationships will reflect the oneness with all life that you sense deep within.”

Gloves- Our hands, metaphysically, as it states in the Revealing Word, represents executive ability; the doing of things; outer manual power.
Remove the gloves! Release the temperamental Diva in the hands. Let her go.  Some of you may know what I’m talking about. Many of us talk with our hands while we speak. For many, our hand motions speak louder than our actual words. In certain cultures, it’s second nature. Watch a movie with the volume turned down. Watch the movement of the actor’s hands.
What are we doing? How are we using our manual power to manifest our higher consciousness?
Are we using our hands to help others? Create art? Music? Pray? Do we use them to comfort those in need of a hand to hold?
We share our spark of divinity, that Christ spirit in us, when we share our manual power. Using our hands. From doctors, to farmers to Master Gardeners. Mom’s and dad’s putting together equipment for their children or patching up a scraped knee.
We shed our Diva-ness, our hard to please nature, and awaken to the truth of who and what we truly are: An Each-ness of the All-ness, the whole ocean in a drop, the very essence of God the Good, Omnipotence.
Move through your day and days to come in love, and remember YOU have a spark of divinity within YOU! The Christ spirit within.
Namaste~
